Individual Therapy

Reconnect With Yourself

Sometimes life looks fine from the outside, but internally you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, stuck, or simply not quite like yourself.

Maybe you spend a lot of time thinking about what everyone else needs and have a harder time identifying what you need.

Maybe you know your patterns but can't seem to stop repeating them.

You might struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, boundaries, self-doubt, perfectionism, relationship patterns, or feeling responsible for other people's emotions.

Or maybe nothing is dramatically "wrong." You simply want to understand yourself better and live more intentionally.

Therapy can give you the space to do that.

More Than Managing Symptoms

I believe our thoughts, emotions, relationships, past experiences, nervous system, and physical body are deeply connected.

Because of that, therapy with me isn't only about changing the thoughts in your head.

We'll also become curious about what happens inside of you.

What happens when someone is disappointed in you? What does your body do when conflict begins? Why is saying no so uncomfortable? Why do certain situations create such a strong emotional response? Why can you understand something logically and still struggle to feel differently?

Instead of judging these patterns, we'll work to understand where they came from and whether they're still serving you.

Individual Therapy May Help If You Are Experiencing:

  • Anxiety or chronic overthinking

  • People-pleasing

  • Difficulty setting or maintaining boundaries

  • Low self-esteem or self-doubt

  • Perfectionism

  • Relationship challenges

  • Difficulty identifying or expressing your needs

  • Stress and overwhelm

  • Life transitions

  • Parenting-related stress

  • Disconnection from yourself or your body

  • Patterns from childhood that continue to affect adult relationships

  • A desire for greater self-awareness and personal growth

You don't have to fit neatly into one diagnosis or category to benefit from therapy.

Sometimes the reason for coming is simply: "I know I want something to be different."

That's enough.

What Our Work Might Look Like

Our sessions are collaborative and individualized.

We may explore your beliefs and thought patterns, family and relationship experiences, attachment patterns, emotional responses, boundaries, communication, nervous-system responses, and the ways you experience emotions physically.

We'll work toward helping you recognize your patterns earlier and create more space between an automatic reaction and an intentional response.

The goal isn't to never feel anxious, hurt, angry, overwhelmed, or uncertain.

It's to understand yourself well enough that those feelings don't have to make every decision for you.

From Awareness to Choice

One of the central ideas behind Counseling for Conscious Healing is that awareness creates choice.

When you understand yourself more deeply, you can begin responding differently.

You can set a boundary without spending the rest of the day questioning it.

You can recognize when an old fear is showing up in a current relationship.

You can notice what your body is telling you instead of automatically pushing through it.

You can identify what you actually want rather than immediately focusing on what everyone else expects.

And little by little, you can build a relationship with yourself that feels more trusting, compassionate, and connected.
